Matt Leonard and friends,

Hello, I got your phone message. It woke me
during my nap. Here is a rundown of how how things
are here, feel free to pass this on to whomever.

This is my last semester here at Texas State. I
graduate in December. This semester, I am wrapping up
classes that did not directly transfer when I
transfered down here, so I'm mostly taking classes I
took 5 years ago. Should be pretty straight-forward,
although it's rather involved. I have a total of 6
classes plus a lab.

After graduation, I'm not too sure what the near
future holds. I currently work at Wal Mart and have
been with the company over 3 years. It's decent,
steady blue-collar-ish type work. I could see myself
working there until I think of something, even though
I don't much care for the retail business.
Ultimately, I plan to open my own business, most
likely a franchise. Here's the best ideas I've come
up with so far:

1. Domino's Pizza
2. Automated Car Wash
3. Gun Store
4. Papa John's Pizza
5. Krispy Kreme Donuts

I plan to open one and then open more once the
capital comes in. I tentatively plan to open the
first one in 2012, in a tax friendly state.

From now until 2008, the plan is to build
capital, or at least pay off my college loans and save
up a bit. I then plan to attend the Olypics in
Beijing. After that, I'm thinking I'll try living
overseas and see how I like it.

I told Richard Coffin last time I was in Portland
that I was coming to visit in June of 2004. I was not
able to make it due to lack of funds and not having
vacation time available until July. I have not been
in Maine since December 31, 2001.

Currently, I'm paying 0% interest on $2500 worth
of credit card debt and do not see myself doing much
traveling in the near future. I just took a trip to
Las Vegas in August to attend a friends wedding. It
was a great time but it left me deep in the hole.
Somehow I lost my fiscal responsibility when I started
drinking. It's going to take some very good betting
on football this season for me to get of debt anytime
soon.
Also, there is much in this country that I haven't
seen. My state total is up to 33, I'd like to get to
48 before I leave the country.
So, that being said, I don't foresee myself
visiting Maine in the near future, plus my dad is
thinking about moving out of Maine by 2006 leaving me
no family to visit up there, but I'd like to think
I'll make it up there in the summer of 2008 before I
move. There is a lot more of this country that I'd
like to see, plus Mexico, before I make it back up
there.

The mini-golf tournament sounds fun. It's about
the only kind of golf I can do with my back being in
the condition it's in. The last time I played
mini-golf was last August in Daytona Beach at Pirate's
Cove. It was a good time other than the rain.

I think that wraps up a non-detalied description
of where I'm at. If you can plan a mini-golf
tournament in June or July of 2008, I'll obligate
myself to attend.

    Good to hear from you.

-Paul
